ACCA Programme Director at London College of Accountancy Limited and UK Director of Get Through Guides Limited (GTG)

 

I am a qualified Chartered Accountant and have worked for the predecessor firms of PriceWaterhouseCoopers in practice and in training both when qualifying and subsequently as a manager.

 

After a number of years teaching ICAEW and ACCA for a private sector college I then ran, for ten years, my own international training business – Peter Keeling Independent Training Consultancy (PKITC). The business provided successful ACCA training to the major accounting firms (PWC, KPMG, Ernst & Young and Deloitte) and major global corporations (Commercial Union, BAT, Philip Morris, Danone, etc) in twelve countries. My own role was as owner, manager, tutor and consultant.

 

I also ran development courses in business and finance for major blue chip international corporations. PKITC also undertook, with me as project manager and lead consultant, major consultancy projects including;

 

1. Advising Czech and Slovak universities in accountancy education.
2. Advising the Chinese Association of Public Accountants in education and training
3. Providing advice and courses to train all qualified auditors in Poland during the transition to International Standards.
4. Author of series of auditing manuals for use in Poland
5. Providing in separate projects train the trainers courses for qualified accountants in Poland, Belarus Armenia, Azerbaijan and in Georgia based on International Standards

 

I then joined London College of Accountancy Limited as a founder director and as Director of International Operations.

 

I have also been working as a syllabus development consultant for the ICAEW, where I also acted as moderator for one of the professional exam papers and before that was an ICAEW examiner for the Advanced Case Study (ACS)..

 

I have also been a member of the ACCA Examination Review Board.

 

I am in another capacity a director of Get Through Guides Limited a global provider of ACCA study materials.
